An unplanned visit with someone you love is like receiving an unexpected gift. Plus having all your chores under control is a bonus. He sure is getting big. Gramma!

The recipe sounds like to die for! I may even attempt it. Like Diane I found a 68 degree going on the few trips that Brandy hauled me outside. Both you and Junie Rose had fun buying things this week and wisely spending too ( well sort of). Plus Diane gathering ideas for from the craft show. I'm kinda sitting here with a little pout going. But that is OK because I'm happy for all of you.

Stay Warm?!? the temp was 73o when I passed the sign at the bank! and sunny and lovely and everbody was raking leaves and carrying leafblowers and waving across the street at each other. It being Saturday, all the neighborhood is catching up after the hard work week.
Except me. I went to a Craft Sale at the high school. Not too much spent, but many happy hobby ideas for making my own goodies.

The Harvest Party was a huge hit (as usual); I haven't counted yet, but would guess we easily had at least 40 people in our little room, all having a great time playing games, eating and chatting.

It is hard when a pet is ill. Trying to help it heal. Bearing the expense when you don't know if it will get better. Also to have to think about putting it to sleep. All things we go through but sometimes the results are good. I say good job family, yeah Ricky, and I'm rooting for you!

Glad to hear that the cat is doing better. I know for now that is a load off of your mind. Hopefully he will continue to get better and better. Here's to a speedy recovery.

My car had a weird something in the left front wheel, so it was in for diagnostics for 18 days over Christmas break. Fortunately, Husband's car is available for me, since he rides his bicycle to work.
Plus, it was Winter Break/ cold weather, so I pretty much stayed in and enjoyed yarn work.

It turned out that my car had been in an accident before we bought it, and the insurance work was bare minimum to get it going again. "Let the Buyer Beware!!"
Our mechanic is a guy who went to high school with DOF, so we trust him alot.
