Good Friday

Today is Good Friday, a day well-remembered by many as the day Jesus Christ was crucified on a cross. Although we remember the pain and suffering, there is still coming the Resurrection Day when He arose from the grave and conquered Death and Hell.  Years ago my husband came home from work very excited about a radio broadcast he’d heard that evening. It is a sermon preached on what Good Friday means and where it’s ‘going’. Those of you who are familiar with my blog know that I am a Christian – I’m not ashamed of that. I’m passing on the link to the sermon my husband heard years ago – you be the judge, see what you think of this message.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; for it is the power

of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first

and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:15-17
